The first of our Health Walks in Staffin was held on the brisk and blustery last Wednesday of November. ONE HUNDRED people are now members of Staffin Community Trust (SCT), almost 1 in 5 of the resident population.
The milestone was reached recently and SCT’s chairman believes the growing membership is testament to the local support and encouragement from the district.

THE ultimate sacrifice made by men from Trotternish who served in the Boer and First and Second world wars, and military personnel from across the Atlantic, will be remembered this weekend.
Four services will take place at the Culnacnoc, Staffin, Kilmaluag and Kilmuir war memorials on Remembrance Sunday.
