Major grant awarded for Staffin housing, health and business development

A MUCH-needed affordable housing, health and business development in Staffin has taken a major step forward after securing a significant government grant.

Staffin Community Trust (SCT) is delighted to confirm that it has been awarded £231,700 from the Scottish Land Fund. It comes after full planning permission was secured from Highland Council for the development, near Staffin Primary School, earlier this year.

Trotternish viewing platform opens to the public

STAFFIN’S new viewing platform at Lealt Gorge, which is a key attraction in a major community-led heritage development, is now open to the public.
